The seats don't lie flat, and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old was having trouble sitting back comfortably. It's a pity considering that this is a luxury vehicle.

It can also be changed back to mono mode in just three clicks, if you need more space or need to make a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third child with the comfort wheeled board should you need to. It is expensive though so when you're on a tight budget, there are other options out there. If you're a fan of the brand and are able to afford it, it's worth the cost.
