Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an attempt to return to the classic sextet structure, and it was a more consistent, more powerful effort that had a more grittier edge. The more edgy sound of the album was a reflection of the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency on the drums, as well as a more confident, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams.
