A good suspension with air-filled tires will allow you to handle rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. However, you should wait until your baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent option for parents looking for an easy-to-use buggy that has enhanced features. It is an all-in-one travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot designed for infants, a movable forward and rear facing pushchair and a selection of a group 0+ car seat, meaning you can get everything you need in one package.

The XL Air is a really impressive vehicle, and it's easy to understand why it has been awarded so many praises from customers. It's incredibly light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to construct. In fact I was able get the whole thing up and running in just five minutes, which is amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a lovely, wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very simple to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I find it nice that the handle bar comes with a pocket to keep your phone and keys safe.

The only issue is that the handlebar is quite low, which can be a problem for taller parents. However, it's coated in a gorgeous leather-like material that's soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, making it still easy to push even with bags and children in your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is a great choice for parents who enjoy exploring and are always on the go. The large pneumatic wheels can be utilized on field and forest trails. The front 3 wheel buggy can be locked and can be swiveled to allow for greater flexibility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness as well as a front bar to ensure your child is safe throughout your journey, while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you are taking a break. The comfortable seat is easy to adjust down to a lying position, and the canopy opens to reveal with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad or mum's heights.

The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that is known for its well-designed and no-fuss essentials for parents. It's the most recent and most expensive addition to their bargain lightweight stroller line. It as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so that you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design elements, including rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis and stroller trims that really distinguish it from. The stroller and car seat fabrics are stylish in tan, grey and cream. You can also choose to add a leather handle and bumper bar to complement.

It's suitable for babies up to a maximum weight of 22kg. The stroller seat easily converts from the carrycot into an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be parent or world-facing. The stroller seat has various lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections and a transparent flap, and retractable visor.

When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which is perfect for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also simple to fold down, using two buttons on either side of the handlebar which just click in and pop up.

It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it does not feel heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The seat fabric is machine washable, and the faux leather frames and grips are easy to clean. It's also a lot quieter than some pushchairs, and I felt confident using it in busy city streets. It has integrated accessory points that allow you to attach footmuffs and parasols and also changing bags or snack trays, and even snack tray. The hood can be used to block rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) which allows your child more leg room. It took around 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to transform it into the seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

If you're looking forward to an early morning run in the crisp air or a moonlit stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a memorable one. This all-terrain jogging stroller is designed for maximum performance to keep you and your child active.
