Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an ode to the classic sextet format and an even more consistent and powerful effort with a harder edge. Its edgier sound reflected the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's greater proficiency on the drums, as well as a more mature, confident vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. Keyboardist David Paich's work also was more precise, sharper and less cloned previously recorded performances.

After touring to promote their album, the band recorded the band's Amsterdam live concert which was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between.
