This is much quicker and easier to achieve than opening the door with a multipoint lock and leaves little evidence of a break-in, which can impede the insurance claim.

Spring Cassette

The spring cassette is situated inside the base plate of the door handle. It provides a sprung solution to return your multipoint lock handles back to their resting position after using. These handles used to have no spring and would droop when the locking mechanism was disengaged. The addition of this simple element is one of the best ways to correct this and it is also a great way to prevent your doors made of upvc from getting stuck in an open or closed position, since they are not always easy to manually close by hand.

These spring cassettes were created to be used with a sprung multipoint locks.
